Leveraging one of the most respected reputations, built through provision of quality survey services with past companies in the Gulf of Mexico, USA marine surveying industry, TESLA OFFSHORE began providing survey services to clients in March of 2004. The company has been designed and functions as a comprehensive and key survey service provider to the Oil & Gas Industry, offering full services in Geophysical, Marine Construction and Marine Salvage surveying. A Little History

The core group comprising TESLA OFFSHORE were the major Operations element of two highly regarded U.S. based and owned survey companies that pioneered survey services for the Petroleum Industry’s push into the Gulf of Mexico. Our key staff led those and subsequent companies to build one of the best-known and most respected success stories in the Gulf of Mexico region. Due to proven successful methods and business approaches, this core group, now the staff of TESLA OFFSHORE, was able to remain intact and autonomous through a series of corporate buyouts by consistently larger firms. Throughout the various ownership structures of the past, our group has been singularly entrusted to “do what works”.

Early in 2004, circumstances and market conditions forced a decision between going into the future as a small part within a very large organization, with very little direct control over the care of our clients and their needs, and starting a small privately held company, with full control. A unanimous desire for a return to small company efficiency, quality and personal attention to detail emerged throughout the group.

While certain personnel go back even further, the primary core staff members that make up TESLA OFFSHORE have been working together, as a cohesive group, in excess of thirty years. This extensive history today provides unmatched efficiency, breadth of preexisting knowledge and quality assurance to our customers. The group’s desire to remain together through the years, each complimenting and contributing to the management and support team as a whole, has allowed our new company to keep integrity, quality and regard for customer service as the primary focus of business relationships. This has resulted in the capture of nearly half of our target market, against a significantly larger and well financed competitor. The formation of TESLA OFFSHORE has allowed a return to the full and unhampered commitment to providing our customers the best possible survey services, at all stages of project execution; a commitment that has allowed us to build and retain a lengthy list of very loyal repeat customers and friends. This formula has been well proven; from the teams early association in the 1970’s through to the present. It is with significant customer urging and assured support that this endeavor, the creation of TESLA OFFSHORE, was undertaken and continues to thrive.

In March of 2007, we celebrated the completion of a very successful third year in business.
